Marc Pelta
Marc Pelta
Attorney
At Pelta Law, your goals come first. Marc Pelta is a former prosecutor with deep experience in criminal litigation—handling every stage of a case, from the pre-filing phase after an arrest or police report, to sentencing after trial or a negotiated plea. He has successfully represented clients throughout California in both adult and juvenile criminal cases, as well as in civil harassment, domestic violence, and elder abuse restraining order matters.
Marc understands that criminal charges often stem from underlying issues such as addiction or mental health challenges. He works strategically to advocate for sentencing alternatives—like treatment programs or counseling—instead of incarceration, whenever possible. His goal is not only to defend, but to help clients move forward with their lives.
Known for his aggressive yet personable approach, Marc is a problem-solver who consistently thinks outside the box to deliver client-centered solutions. He has earned the respect of both clients and peers for his creative, effective advocacy.
Marc Pelta is licensed to practice in all California state courts, federal courts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
